In 2013, Dami Im successfully auditioned for the fifth season of The X Factor Australia, singing "Hero" by Mariah Carey. She made it to the third day of boot-camp, where she -eliminated. However, Im was called back for the home visits round in New York City to replace Matt Gresham who decided he could not commit to the competition. Dami was mentored by guest mentor Kylie Minogue. Angelica Hale was only 6 years old at the time of her video back in 2014. Angelica earned a second place in AGT 2017 at age 10.
